Directions
To Gunstock Recreation Area (TimberFEST/registration site):From points South… take I-93 North to Concord, NH and exit onto I-393 East. Off I-393 take the Route 106 (Loudon/Laconia) exit and turn left onto Route 106 heading north. Go several miles through the towns of Loudon, Canterbury, Gilmanton, and Belmont. After you see the “McGreevy” car dealerships on both sides, exit right onto the Route 11 Bypass (towards Gilford). Take your first Exit, Route 11A, to Gilford. Take a right at the end of the ramp. Stay on Route 11A. Gunstock is about 7 miles up on the right.
From Gunstock to Ellacoya Race Site (For Bike Check-In): Exiting Gunstock, you may take a right or a left. If LEFT: follow Route 11A to Route 11B. Take a left on Route 11B. AT the 11/11B intersection (Sawyer’s Dairy Bar is on your right), take a right. Ellacoya is 3 miles up on the left. IF RIGHT: follow 11A to Route 11/11A intersection. Take a left on Route 11. Ellacoya is on your right about 5 miles.
To Ellacoya State Park (Race site):
From points South… take I-93 North to Concord, NH and exit onto I-393 East. Off I-393 take the Route 106 (Loudon/Laconia) exit and turn left onto Route 106 heading north. Go several miles through the towns of Loudon, Canterbury, Gilmanton, and Belmont. After you see the “McGreevy” car dealerships on both sides, exit right onto the Route 11 Bypass (towards Gilford). Take the bypass all the way until it curves around and dead-ends at the traffic lights. Go left at the light onto Route 11. Go through two traffic lights. After the 2nd light the road will widen to two lanes and you will see brown signs for Ellacoya State Park/Beach. Turn left into Ellacoya State Park. Race headquarters is located at the lake-side end of the RV park.
Course Maps
The Sprint and 70.3 Distances follow the same course, with the
sprint distance turnaround coming:
7.5 miles into the bike
and 1.5 miles into the run.
